The house I live in was built by my parents three years ago. This house was the dream of my father. He put a lot work and detail into building and furnishing it. For example, the wood used for the doors and furniture is of first class quality. The living room is really spacious and provides a large home theater, which is especially fantastic for watching football matches.
In the kitchen there is a bench seat and a small television so people can visit the cook – my mom – and have a chat with her while she preparing something. My mother, on the other hand, doesn’t need to miss any of her favourite soap operas anymore, as she can watch while cooking, which helps her also to save time. Other than the living room and kitchen, there is also a small office room.
The bedrooms and the guest rooms are upstairs. The basement is big hall, set up with fitness equipments like a treadmill. In each floor you can find a bathroom and a storage room, too. At backside of the house there is small garden, where my parents pursue their hobby at the weekends, gardening. The garden is full of different beautiful flowers. There are some homegrown vegetables, an apple and a peach tree. My mother only needs to buy tomatoes in the winter months. In spring and summer my parents relax on their garden swing, enjoying their own little oasis.
